I needed a funnel with a 6 inch bottom opening and a 22 5 inch top opening to put in 55 gallon barrel for my deer feeder.
How to make a funnel out of sheet metal.
Mark an 8 inch circle on a piece of sheet metal.
The pencil will make the circle and the slight indentation where the compass has been anchored should be noted.
Cut around the circle with tin snips and smooth the cut edges with sandpaper to remove.
Overlap the edge of the metal to form a cone.
The tapered end of the cone should have an opening approximately.
Roll the cone template into a cone shape starting at the wide end working toward the pivot point end.
Enjoy the videos and music you love upload original content and share it all with friends family and the world on youtube.
Drill a few holes through the overlapping rectangular shape.
Cut out the cone template from your sheet metal using tin snips and file the edges smooth of any burrs of rough sections with your file.
