In the middle of the 19th century in bavaria a mixture of cement sand and water was first used to form roof tiles out of concrete.
How to make cement roof tiles.
Roll out the clay so it forms a flat slab that is about a 1 4 inch thick.
Many homes built with these first concrete roof tiles still remain proving their durability.

The most common tile types are concrete and terracotta.
You must ensure it is the same type of tile or it may not work and can result in damage even though you ve tried to repair it.
Spoon or pour the wet concrete into the sand impression using enough concrete to fill it completely.
Then a concrete mixture is poured spread through the framework and reinforced with steel bars which serve as a kind of skeleton for the cured concrete.
Use roof adhesive to fix down the tiles as each one is slid into place and nail the tiles down.

Make sure to add an extra 1 4 inch in all directions when making your tiles because the drying process will cause them to shrink some.
Allow it to dry overnight or according to concrete package directions.
Then cut out your tiles.
The first section of the tiles is cut to size and attached to the roof starting at a lower edge and working up.
Looking at commercial tiles it looks like all you would need would be a simple slump mold for the cement you could make a sheet of molds out of silicone mold compound so that each one just popped right out without the edges chipping kinda like one of those silicone ice trays if you have ever seen one.
Mix the concrete with water according to package directions in a bucket.
Lift the concrete tile out of the sand and brush loose sand away.
