Remove any travel covers from the awning.

Lay the awning on the ground.
To remove the awning you ll need to take out the bolts holding the awning to the rv and the ones holding the fabric to the track so you can slide the fabric out.
If necessary cut away any old sealant holding your fabric to the track.
There should be 2 on each side of the awning 4 in total.
Locate the cam locks on either side of the awning tube and set the cam to the roll down position.

Remove the main bolts that hold the top of the awning to the side of the rv.
Then you ll need to use a box wrench to remove the bolts that hold the legs of the awning and remove them.

Spray the rv awning.
Be careful not to scratch the side of the rv or hit your mirror.
Release the travel locks on the awning arms.
So use it only when you have to remove some hard stains.
