I ve tried lining the vault with power conduits which is ok but you can t them into closed rooms without either going through a window or glitching it through doors which just looks ugly.
How to snap roofs ino place fallout 4.
Place a wall on the second tile from the one you re facing on the right then replace the wall that you removed from the other corner you should then be able to snap a wall on the corner.
However with this method you can snap the roof to a barn wall next to a shack wall and snap over the shack wall.
Move it round and round and over and back and forth across the one piece of foundation until it finally snaps in place.
Also whats the best way to get power through the vault.
How have you guys added a roof to your vaults.
Maybe i was thinking of a different one than op but i meant the ones that look like a regular approx.
45 degree angle barn roof except they have a wooden strut.

P the building system in fallout is a disaster hope they fix it.
However i can t get any kind of roof to snap in place.
But it doesn t help much because you can t place the wall down unless you release e first and then it just snaps back into something it itsn t supposed to.
So as you may know you can t snap barn roofs to anything but barn walls.
Then snap a roof floor tile to the side of it then pick up the wall roof item.
You can build a piece that s a wall with a roof and snap it to the ground tile.
